??????ABOUT DURA: Dura is a leading automotive supplier of shifter systems, parking brake systems, cables, door frames, body structure and exterior trim components. It has established two joint ventures in China to supply these parts to the China market.
??????
??????GENERAL DESCRIPTION: To create and maintain the Sales and Marketing Plan for one of the Dura Business Units/Joint Ventures. This will require much coordination between the local team in China and the Dura Global Network. The expectation is for this person to aggressively grow the business within the Dura Business Unit/Joint Venture.
??????RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITY
??????Support for the Sales and Marketing Plan for one of the Dura Business Units/Joint Ventures.
??????Coordinate activities with Dura global network to gain new business awards.
??????Provides the data for analysis of competitors’ price and product strategy in the market.
??????Coordinates business opportunity selection and quotation process between JV and Dura Global locations.
??????Makes recommendations as to new product/market opportunities and associated price strategy.
??????Manages product costing with development teams and presents pricing proposal document to senior management
??????Updates and manages monthly sales forecast and long range plans for assigned accounts
??????Participates on cross functional teams to represent the voice of the customer within the business and to ensure that sales objectives are fulfilled.
??????Develops yearly account strategies, updates and regularly communicates the situation reflecting the current status. Assists in developing annual business plans as it pertains to the assigned market segment.
??????Prepares senior management for critical negotiations and achieves resolution to open issues.
??????Understands the higher level corporate long range plans and strategy and ensure that the plans are being followed.
??????Domestic and International travel required
??????Manages program costing from quote stage to production implementation.
??????Identify and communicate impediments to the successful completion of program milestones
??????Interface with required functional disciplines and departments for program support
??????REQUIREMENTS
??????Education/Special Knowledge: We are searching for an exceptional Sales Manager to join our team of professionals. This candidate must have excellent presentation skills and confidence to be a representative of the company. The candidate must have strong network connections within the Automotive OEMs. The candidate must have strong management skills and the ability to lead a team to support the company’s goals and objectives. The ability to work with others in a global environment is vital, as is the ability to act quickly in the analysis of complex information and provide recommendations.
?????? Experience:
??????Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive sales/engineering environment.
??????Strong technology-based selling skill in automotive industry.
??????Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering is required.
??????Work history should demonstrate problem solving, business decision making capability.
??????Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
??????Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally in Chinese and English. German language would also be a plus.
